My name is Scarlet and I launched Moms Wear Your Tees Social Media Marketing in December of 2009. I used to be a retail store manager for companies such as Ann Taylor LOFT, Express, and Macy's. I am now a stay at home mother of a 4 and 6 year old.  I have a wonderful husband, two German shepherds, and one cat as well. I decided I needed a creative source of income and I came up with social media marketing. Networking seems to be a part of the package with being a stay at home mom and it can be really fun! I am especially interested in natural health and going green so I have a lot of venues for sharing this with others. I look forward to becoming familiar with your company and getting exposure for your company or cause through my social media venues.  I also look forward to providing you with inspirational entrepreneur stories and resources.

I created Moms Wear Your Tees website with the vision of being a Work-At-Home-Mom (aka WAHM) and helping some of my other mommy friends do the same.  My previous work experience was in retail management and I knew I was good at setting goals and working to reach them.  As a mother, I had become great at networking and I decided to capitalize on these skills through helping other entrepreneurs market their businesses.  While promoting my clients' websites through social media marketing, I found myself in other areas of small business management.  I saw a pattern in what so many self-employed business owners were missing in their business strategies.  I also thought it would be great to be able to provide these business tips to everyone, not just paying clients.  Seeing the need, I decided to make this website a resource for small business owners, entrepreneurs, and mompreneurs.

My blog following and social media followings have grown tremendously over my first year.  I have  also become a guest blogger for a few other notable companies, such as Oh! Toys, SC Johnson, Nashville Parent, and Thrifty & Green.
